Welcome Back! I hope you all had a restful and fun 3 day weekend!

The next few weeks in Spanish Class: March 16-25, 2009
We will begin working on our house projects and presentations. Remember you will have 5 days in class to work on your projects! They will be due at the end of class on Friday. Presentations will start on Monday, March 23rd. Also, bring in any materials you will need to start working on your project on Tuesday!
Monday-Friday (16-20): Receive partners and rubric. Begin brainstorming and working on your project.
Monday-Wednesday (23-25): Project presentations! Make sure you are practicing your speaking at home!

Celia Cruz was a Cuban singer. She was famous for being a Cuban salsa singer known as the "Queen of Salsa". She was from La Habana, Cuba.


Mario Molina is a Mexican chemist. He is famous for discovering the Antartic ozone hole. He is from Mexico City, Mexico.

My dog has cancer. We have to put her to sleep. I have never felt this sad before in my life.
